Tongue cleaning is done with a tongue scrapper. Using a toothbrush to clean the surface of the tongue is like cleaning carpet with a broom. Bacteria can and will collect on the tongue more so in some individuals. This is due to the thousands of taste buds of varying heights on the surface of our tongue The surface of the tongue should appear pink at all times and if it appears whitish or yellowish, then tongue scrapping should be part of your regimen.
